Economic Recovery of Japan
Japan rebuilt from nothing, like Germany, but made themselves into a global superpower. Japan created goods to export and sell. They had already industrialized and knew how to create bigger, better factories that would produce more, higher quality goods faster than outdated western factories. Soon Japan had booming businesses everywhere, and although they had to import many natural resources as an island nation, their high-profit exports, including advanced technology, helped form them into such an economic powerhouse.
